SportVault started with a swimming lesson signup form that looked like it was built in 1998.
Our founder — an ex-Amazon product and technology executive — was registering his daughter for swimming and gymnastics classes. The enrollment process was clunky, confusing, and felt decades behind the technology we use for everything else. Paper waivers. PDF class schedules emailed as attachments. Payment links that broke on mobile. In a world of AI and instant everything, academy registration felt frozen in time.
That frustration led to conversations with the people on the other side of it — academy owners. What they described was even worse. Most of their day wasn't spent coaching.
